The Hood Canal Coordinating Council (HCCC) invites you to the virtual 2020 Hood Canal Shellfish Summit!

Working together for the future of Hood Canal shellfish

Representatives from Hood Canal ecosystem recovery partners, local governments and tribes, and the Hood Canal community will come together to discuss protecting and enhancing our critical shellfish resources. Speakers will be featured and the draft Hood Canal Shellfish Initiative Action Plan will be presented with opportunities to provide feedback.

The Hood Canal Shellfish Initiative’s goal is to support and expand Hood Canal’s thriving shellfish resources and identity with coordinated and multi-beneficial strategies and actions that honor tribal treaty rights, build resilience, pursue ecosystem protection and restoration, and support careful stewardship of tribal, commercial, and recreational shellfish activities now and into the future.
