Climate Impacts on Olympic Peninsula Salmon Review Meeting
11/10/2009 9:00 AM  - 6 hours

As a part of the Olympic Climate Change Case Study, the US Forest Service, Olympic National Park, and the University of Washington's Climate Impacts Group are co-sponsoring a one-day meeting reviewing Climate Impacts on Olympic Peninsula salmon.

Goals for this meeting include providing updates on the latest science and hydro-climate and habitat data sets, and identifying key aspects of climate-related vulnerabilities for the Olympic Peninsula's salmon.

The all-day meeting will be held November 10th at the Olympic National Forest Headquarters in Olympia(directions here:
http://www.fs.fed.us/r6/olympic/recreation-nu/maps/Headquarters.pdf), but let Jessica Halofsky (jhalo@u.washington.edu) know if you'd like to make arrangements to join via video conference.

Speakers on our program include Gordie Reeves, Pete Bisson, and Dan Isaak from the US Forest Service, Jim Winton from the USGS, Sam Brenkman from the Olympic National Park, and Nate Mantua and Jeremy Littell from the University of Washington's Climate Impacts Group.

Please mark your calendars and join us for this full day event on November 10th. We will be sending a detailed agenda for this meeting within the next week.

Thanks,
